Experienced Logistics Officer

For a large, new and rapidly growing logistics company in Ridderkerk, we are looking for experienced logistics employees who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves. The organization is in full development, the logistics processes and systems are not yet fully set up, which means there is plenty of room for initiative and own input. What are you going to do?

As a logistics employee, you will be responsible for the entire warehouse and storage of goods within the distribution center. You can handle the forklift/reach truck and EPT well.
You actively think about process improvements and contribute to the further professionalization of the logistics organization.
Your duties will include:

• Loading, unloading and moving goods with EPT, forklift and reach truck;
• Control and process flow of goods;
• Completing and checking forms (manual, and WMS);
• Identify bottlenecks and contribute solutions;
• Working safely and neatly within the warehouse.

What do you bring?

• Demonstrated experience with EPT, forklift and reach truck (not a short course, but real hands-on experience);
• Good understanding of logistics processes and a proactive attitude;
• Able to work independently and take responsibility;
• No difficulty with administrative tasks such as reading and filling out forms and using WMS Systems;
• You have a practical, down-to-earth mentality and enjoy thinking about improvements;
• Dutch and English is required
