Commercial vehicle mechanic

As a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic at our client, you are the heart of our organization. Without you, we all eventually grind to a halt. Do you want to work in a family business where you can work independently with many growth opportunities? Then this is the job for you!

Our garage now consists of a team of three mechanics, and these top guys could really use your help. From trucks and buses to trailers and from bodywork to (mounted) forklifts, you'll be working on everything. What you don't know yet, we'll teach you.

What are you going to do?

Our mechanics perform all maintenance and repair work on the vehicles in our fleet. We rarely use external garages; our mechanic team *is* the garage. Whatever the problem, we will fix it. Our team consists of experienced mechanics who diagnose, maintain, and repair. You will therefore be involved in scheduling and carrying out the necessary maintenance so that our equipment lasts a long time. And at the same time, you will work on repairs or restore a trailer so that it is like new again. Almost always in our workshop in Werkendam, and sometimes on the road if a combination breaks down somewhere.

This means you'll experience all sorts of things throughout the day, from an onboard computer malfunction to a forklift that's broken down. Everything has its own priority, and you can handle that well. Our team of mechanics ensures that our trucks and internal transport equipment can always leave the workshop in top condition.

What are you bringing?

• You have experience in a similar role.;
• You are capable of independently carrying out the repair and maintenance work assigned to you.;
• Diploma for 1st commercial vehicle mechanic or 2nd commercial vehicle mechanic in training for 1;
• Autonomy and a flexible attitude;
• Team player and pleasant to work with fellow mechanics and drivers;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.;
• You possess a driver's license class B, with a preference for class C or CE, or you are keen to obtain those licenses.
