Concrete Recycling Plant Operator

What are you going to do?

As a Concrete Recycling Plant Operator, you are responsible for operating and maintaining facilities used for the thermal processing of concrete waste. During this process, demolished concrete is heated, separating raw materials from each other. These raw materials are then reused for the production of new cement for concrete blocks.

You ensure that the process is safe, efficient, and meets applicable quality standards.

Your duties include:

• Operating thermal processing and recycling plants according to established procedures;
• Monitoring of the heating process to ensure optimal separation of raw materials;
• Performing quality control on recovered materials and newly produced cement;
• Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs on machines and installations;
• Reporting and logging malfunctions, deviations, and technical problems to the supervisor.;
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment;
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency optimization.

What do you bring?

You have experience operating industrial machinery, preferably within the recycling, cement, or process industry. Additionally, you have technical insight and are adept at adequately resolving malfunctions and problems.

You also have:

• MBO (vocational education) work and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction;
• An accurate, responsible, and independent work attitude.;
• Good communication skills;
• A true team player mentality;
• Willingness to work shifts;
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
