Concrete Recycling Plant Operator

What will you do as a Concrete Recycling Plant Operator?

As a Concrete Recycling Plant Operator, you are responsible for operating and maintaining facilities used for the thermal processing of concrete waste. During this process, demolished concrete is heated to separate raw materials, which are then reused for the production of new cement for concrete blocks.

You ensure that the process runs efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating thermal processing and recycling plants according to established procedures
• Monitoring the heating process to ensure correct separation of raw materials
• Performing quality controls on recovered materials and newly produced cement
• Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
• Reporting malfunctions or deviations to the supervisor
• Ensuring a safe and clean work environment
• Contributing to process improvements and efficiency optimization

What do you bring?

You have experience operating industrial machines, preferably in a recycling, cement, or thermal processing environment. Additionally, you possess technical insight and problem-solving skills.

In addition:

• MBO (vocational education) work and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
• Accurate, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and a true team player
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Proficiency in English and/or Dutch
