Service Mechanic Mechanical Engineering

For a leading organization in mechanical engineering, we are looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician. In this role, you will primarily start in the workshop, where you will receive extensive training and onboarding. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will have the opportunity to support customers on-site and participate in field service.

What are you going to do?

As a service technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various construction and earthmoving machinery. You work with modern techniques and are given the opportunity to further develop yourself into a specialist in the field.

Your tasks include:

• Performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on machines.;
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical malfunctions;
• Working with modern diagnostic equipment and technical systems;
• Testing and verifying machines after maintenance and repairs;
• Analyzing technical problems and brainstorming solutions;
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve complex technical issues;
• In the long term, provide support for malfunctions and on-site service work.

Additionally, you have:

• Minimum HAVO work and thinking level;
• A technical education or demonstrable technical background;
• Technical insight and affinity for machines;
• The ability to analyze failures and think solution-oriented.;
• A proactive, eager-to-learn, and independent mindset;
• Good communication skills;
• Willingness to participate in evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Experience is a plus, but not required

Do you already have experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical engineering, or machinery maintenance? If so, that's a plus.
