Truck Mechanic – Varied Technical Role

For a growing organization, we are looking for a Truck Mechanic who enjoys working on trucks, container chassis, and other transport vehicles. No two days are the same: from maintenance and troubleshooting to technical projects and construction work.

What are you going to do?

As a Truck Mechanic, you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing trucks and container chassis. You will work in a well-equipped workshop where quality and craftsmanship are paramount.

Your tasks include:

• Performing maintenance and inspection services on various truck brands;
• Performing repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems;
• Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions;
• Replacing parts such as filters, oil, air springs, radiators, and other components;
• Performing service work and technical inspections;
• Assembling and adjusting structures;
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop;
• Registration of used materials and work performed.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for someone with technical insight, a practical mindset, and the motivation to solve problems. Experience with trucks is more important than diplomas.

You preferably have:

• Experience as a truck mechanic, commercial vehicle mechanic, or technical mechanic;
• Technical knowledge of vehicles and maintenance work;
• Drivers license B and C;
• A VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one;
• A flexible and collegial institution;
• Good command of the Dutch language.

Do you also have experience with?

• Electrical faults;
• Hydraulic systems;
• Welding and construction work;
• Trailers and tractors;
• Measuring equipment and diagnostic systems;

And that's a nice bonus, but certainly not a requirement.
